Notification:
- GENERAL: Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders and for B.Sc. (with mathematics as one of the optional topics) is the full name of this common entrance exam.
- Those with degrees and Briefly put, APECET 2024 will be administered by JNT University Anantapur for the academic year 2024–2025 on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education in accordance with G.O.Ms.No:24 Education (EC) Department dated:18.03.2004, G.O.Ms.No:25, dated:28.06.2006, and G.O.Ms.No:19, dated: 02.02.2008 For Diploma Holders and G.O.Ms.No.57(EC2) dated:12.05.2008 & G.O.Ms.No58(EC2) dated:12.05.2008 for B.Sc. degree holders (with mathematics as one of the optional subjects).
- Up to 10% of the authorized intake for lateral admission into second-year normal B.E. and B.Tech. courses in university engineering institutes, as well as in the All India Council for
QUALIFICATION TO COMPLETE THE TEST:
- Candidates who meet the following criteria will be allowed to take the ECET:
- Their nationality should be Indian.
- The State of Andhra Pradesh ought to be their home. According to the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended, candidates must meet the local and nonlocal status requirements.
- In order to be admitted to the relevant B.E., B.Tech., or B. Pharmacy courses into the Courses Corresponding to the Diplomas as listed in the following Annexure, they must have earned a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh State, or any other Diploma from an AICTE approved institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto.
- For admission into relevant courses as listed in the accompanying Annexure, they must have passed the three-year B.Sc. degree examination with mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized university in the state or its equivalent.
- Candidates studying a diploma program are able to apply to relevant B.E., B.Tech., and B. Pharmacy programs as long as they have finished the required coursework and passed all required topics prior to being admitted to the college.
- To be eligible for admission to relevant courses, candidates must have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, or B.Sc. with at least 45% of the possible points (80% for students from BC, SC, or ST).

Corrections:
- Items that the Candidate CANNOT change, but in writing, they can be requested by emailing helpdeskapecet@apsche.org along with appropriate scanned papers to the CONVENER, APECE 2024. When submitting a request for corrections, candidates must include Payment ID and Qualifying Exam HT in full.
- Date of Birth, SSC HT Number, Diploma or Degree Number, and Mobile Number.
- Subject to careful verification of the valid documents and convener approval, corrections pertaining to CATEGORY-1 items will be made at CONVENER, APECET-2024 Office.
- The completed online application form’s CATEGORY-2 corrections should be completed by the candidate only between April 25, 2024, and April 27, 2024, the permissible period. These modifications will not be accepted in any way at the CONVENER, APECET-2024 office or Test Centers.
ANALYZATION OF CANDIDATES, LOCAL AND NON-LOCAL:
- The Local Applicant denotes:
- In reference to a Local Area, an applicant for admission will be considered a local candidate:
- If the individual has completed at least four consecutive academic years of study at one or more educational institutions in the local area, concluding with the academic year in which the individual appeared or, if applicable, made their first appearance in the relevant qualifying examination, (or)
- In the event that, for all or a portion of the four academic years that conclude with the year in which the individual appeared or, as the case may be, initially appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, the individual has not attended any educational institutions, if the individual has resided.
- In order to be declared local to an area, an applicant for admission to the course who is not considered a local candidate under subsection (A) with respect to any local area must meet the following requirements:
- If he has spent at least seven years studying in state-run educational institutions
- be considered as a local candidate in reference to: consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or, as the case may be, originally appeared for the appropriate qualifying examination
OVERALL GUIDELINES FOR THE STUDENTS:
- When submitting their online applications, all candidates must exercise extreme caution.
- Only online registration will be available for the APECET 2024, and those wishing to participate are asked to practice taking mock exams in order to familiarize themselves with the online examination process.
- Every photo included with the application needs to be the same. Hall Tickets will not be distributed in any other case. Applications of this nature will be summarily refused.
- In the morning session, candidates cannot leave the test hall before 12:00 PM and cannot be admitted to the exam after 9:00 AM. In the same way, candidates cannot enter the examination room after 2:30 PM and cannot exit the examination room before 5:00 PM during the afternoon session.
