LLB Notification Details:

  • Regarding Government of the United States of America issued G.O.Ms. No.26, Higher Education (H.E.II) Department, dated 24-3-2004 and its amendments, and G.O.Ms. No.59, Higher Education (UE-II) Department, dated 20-6-2007 and these amendments
  • Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh has been tasked by Andhra Pradesh, the Competent Authority, Chairman, APSCHE, with administering the entrance exams APLAWCET and APPGLCET for admission into the first year of the 5 Year LL.B. / 3 Year LL.B. and the first year of the Postgraduate Law courses LL.M. / M.L., respectively, offered by State Universities, their Departments or Constituent Colleges and Affiliated Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Eligible:
  • Three-year LL.B. Course: Applicants must have completed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3) from an accredited university or any other test that the relevant universities have recognized as equivalent, with 45% of their total marks being in general education.
  • 40% for the SC/ST category, 42% for the BC category. If a candidate received fewer than the above-mentioned graduation percentages of 45%, 42%, and 40%, respectively, he or she should have received the same percentage or higher overall in any subsequent graduations or post graduations.
  • The proportion of candidates from general categories who graduate (10+2+3 Pattern) with an aggregate of 44.5% or above, candidates from BC category candidates who graduate (10+2+3 Pattern) with an aggregate of 41.5% or above, and 39.5% of candidates from other categories and above in the cumulative graduation (10+2+3 Pattern);
  • students from the SC/ST category will be given consideration for admission to the three-year LL.B. programmer based on their scores, which will be 45%, 42%, and 40% of the total, respectively.
LLM:

Important Note:

  • Entrance into the AP LAWCET or AP PGLCET is not granted by mere attendance.

  • Applicants who have completed their 10+2 or post-graduation education in a single sitting system without possessing the prerequisite qualifications to pursue legal studies are ineligible for admission to law programs. A candidate may take the APLAWCET/APPGLCET in advance of results if they are appearing for the intermediate (10 + 2) or graduation (10 + 2 + 3) final year examinations.
